With the newly adopted Joint Communication on EU-Africa relations, and with the  5th  Africa-EU Summit taking place in November this year, the Think Tank 'Friends of Europe' has published a new report examining the strategies for a renewed partnership that addresses the changing geopolitical, development, social and economic challenges and opportunities facing both continents.

The report and its conclusions are based on a series of interviews with European and African policy-makers, and a survey of 160 stakeholders drawn from public institutions, think tanks, CSO's and the business sector.
