Lisbon Round Table on Peace and Security Partnership

A roundtable was held in Lisbon, on 26th November 2009, dedicated to an analysis of the progresses and challenges of the Peace and Security Partnership of the EU-AFRICA Joint Strategy.
This event was jointly promoted and organised by the Portuguese Institute for International Strategic Studies (IEEI), the Europe-Africa Policy Research Network (EARN), EuroDefence-Portugal, the Institute of National Defence of the Ministry of Defence and the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Enclosed is the opening intervention by the Portuguese Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mr. João Cravinho.
